This policy explains how TOSS PropTech Pvt. Ltd. ("TOSS", "we", "us") handles your personal data when you use tossproptech.com or contact us. We follow the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act): we collect only what we need, for a clear purpose, with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
1. What we collect
- Details you give us through forms, calls or WhatsApp: your name, mobile number, email, preferred locality, budget range, property preferences, preferred date, time and mode for a consultation or site visit, and any message you write.
- Basic technical data: the page you submitted a form from, campaign tags in the link you used (UTM parameters), the time of submission, and your approximate IP address (used only to prevent spam).
- Data stored on your device: your saved (favourite) properties, and – after you agree to be contacted – your name and phone number so we can pre-fill later forms. This stays in your browser's local storage; you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
- Analytics: if enabled, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel collect information about how pages are used (pages visited, device type, approximate location, and whether a form was submitted).
2. Why we use it (purpose)
- To respond to your enquiry, schedule consultations and site visits, and share property information you asked for.
- To contact you by call, WhatsApp or email about your request.
- To share your requirement with a builder or project team when you ask to visit, enquire about or book a specific project.
- To connect you with home loan or legal professionals, only when you request those services.
- To understand which pages and campaigns help buyers, and to keep the site secure and free of spam.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Consent and withdrawal
We process form data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@tossproptech.com or messaging us on WhatsApp at 95357 48563. After withdrawal we will stop contacting you and delete or anonymise your data unless we are required by law to keep it. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it.
4. Where your data is stored and who can see it
- Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet in TOSS's Google Workspace / Google account, accessible only to authorised TOSS staff.
- Conversations happen over phone, WhatsApp (Meta) and email (Google).
- Our website host and the analytics providers named above process limited technical data on our behalf.
- Builders, lenders or legal professionals receive your details only for the specific request you make.
Some of these providers may store data outside India, subject to applicable law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to help you with your property search and for a reasonable period afterwards (we aim for no more than 24 months after our last contact), unless the law requires a longer period.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update your data;
- erase your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
- address any grievance about how we handle your data.
7. Contact for data requests and grievances
Email support@tossproptech.com with the subject "Data request", or call 95357 48563. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards: secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to the lead sheet, and spam protection on forms. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents (such as ID or bank details) through website forms.
9. Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
